As I once again grabbed my rental snowboard and headed out of the lodge at Snow Valley, it dawned on me that it had been 2 weeks since I last stepped on a board and that I had not even practiced once since the last lesson. Fingers crossed this was going to go well!

I grabbed my rental board and headed out to the lesson flag unsure about what to expect for my first snowboard lesson at Snow Valley Ski Club. I haven’t stepped on a snowboard in years! Where was I supposed to go? Who was my instructor? How many times was I going to fall?

First chair

We are excited to announce that Snow Valley Ski Club is officially open for the 2019-20 season! A crew of 4 eager snowboarders, including Easy Rider’s Warren Currie were at the hill before 9 am to make sure they were the first at the top of the quad chair on opening day!

SNOW VALLEY TODDLER PLAY AREA

Snow Valley Ski Club is pleased to announce plans to develop a Toddler Play Area that will be ancillary to its existing Aerial Park. This play area will consist of approximately three small play elements that will have a natural aesthetic. It will be located adjacent to the Aerial Park within the grounds of the Rainbow Valley Campground.
