We see all of the effort you put in at the Terrain Park, now it’s time to show it all off for a shot at a 2026-27 Snow Valley Season Pass!!

Make and share your best terrain park video/edit, submit it using our online form, and impress the judges (our Park Crew) for your shot at glory and prizes, including the grand prize: a 2026-27 Snow Valley Season Pass!

Videos submitted will be shared at the bottom of this page, and will be judged by the Snow Valley Park Crew based on creativity, riding, flow, and overall edit & style.

Introducing: The Manfred Kraft Award

Snow Valley is proud to announce a new award in memory of one of Snow Valley’s most prolific skiers – Manfred Kraft.

Manfred was on the Snow Valley slopes nearly every day and routinely skied more runs than anyone else at Snow Valley. When RFID tracking was implemented in 2023, we finally saw the numbers to match his legend: 4,929 runs during our 2023-24 season, with a one-day record of 118 runs!

Snow Valley Net Park

Snow Valley Ski Club is pleased to announce plans to develop a Net Park, similar to the image in this article*, that will be ancillary to it’s existing Aerial Park. It would consist of approximately four net-enclosed play elements including a triple level cargo climber, a double level hex bouncer, a crochet net play space, and parallel ziplines that connect the Net Park to the Aerial Park. The design aesthetic is intended to match that of the Aerial Park.

Community on the Slopes: The Heart of Snow Valley’s Masters Racing Program

At Snow Valley Ski Club in Edmonton, skiing is more than just a winter activity—it’s about community.

For the past 13 years, the Masters Racing Program has brought together a range of adult skiers–anywhere from their early twenties to well into their seventies–and has created a unique space for both skill improvement and social connections.

This year, ahead of International Women’s Day, I had the privilege of sitting with Lisa Olsen – Snow School Manager and Shauna Byar – Snow School Supervisor. Between the 2 of them, they have 79 years of industry experience; Lisa with 29 and Shauna with 50.

Join me, Alex, in conversation with Lisa and Shauna to learn more about these 2 women, their journeys through the industry, and their words of advice for other women on the slopes!

I enter the main floor of the lodge to find my skiing partners for the afternoon. They have 101 years of age between the two of them—Muriel Watterworth with 99, and Huxley Derksen with 2. 

Now, many of you have heard of Muriel, the 98 (now 99) year-old skier who inspired us all to hit the slopes and stay active as we age. Well this year, her close friend Joy set up some ski dates between Muriel and Huxley, who at age 2 is possibly the youngest skier on these slopes.

Purchasing Snow Valley products from online marketplaces like WeChat, Kijiji and Facebook Marketplace may seem attractive but this is “too good to be true” and most likely fraudulent. You will not be able to ski/ride with a fraudulent ticket.

You should ONLY purchase lift tickets, rentals and lessons directly from Snow Valley’s website or in person at Snow Valley.

Snow Valley has become the lay down area for Stage 2 of the Terwillegar Drive Expansion project. This means we no longer have access to our usual overflow lot and means that parking is even more limited than usual this season (and likely for the next several seasons as well).

Please consider carpooling, ridesharing, or being dropped off. If parking, make sure to park close to your neighbours.
