Edmonton’s biggest ski swap is back!

The Snow Valley Ski & Snowboard Swap and Sale – 2025 is happening October 18 & 19, 2025 at Snow Valley Ski Club. This is Edmonton’s best place to buy and sell used skis, snowboards, ski boots, snowboard boots, cross-country gear, and other winter equipment. Whether you want to upgrade your gear or find affordable equipment for the season, this is the event you don’t want to miss.

Saturday, October 18
9:00 am – 2:00 pm – Consignment drop-off & in-person registration

Sunday, October 19
9:00 am – 2:00 pm – Ski & Snowboard Sale
4:00 pm – 7:00 pm – Cheque/unsold item pick-up

Costs

• Consignment Listing Fee: $2 per item
• Consignment Sales Rate: 20% consignment fee if the item is sold
• Sunday Admission: $4 per person or $10 per family
  All admission proceeds support Snow Valley’s Team Scholarship Fund.

Consignment Information

Save time by completing your consignment form HERE online before the swap. Pre-registered consignors will have access to a faster drop-off line on October 18. The online registration form closes at 11:59 pm on Thursday, October 16.

• Consignments accepted October 18 without pre-registration (slower process)
• Items accepted at consignor’s risk

• Please note: We cannot accept straight downhill skis or any used helmets. Skis with bindings older than 10 years may not be accepted. Here is our equipment and clothing check lists:

  • Clothing
• Snow Valley Ski Club and Snow Valley Racing Association are NOT responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen items.
• All cheques and unsold items MUST be picked up Sunday between 4pm and 7pm – NO EXCEPTIONS. Equipment and cheques not picked up during that time will be donated to Snow Valley Ski Club and Snow Valley Racing.

FAQs

Why is it called a “swap”? Can I just buy or sell?
Yes! “Swap” simply refers to buying and selling gear. You can do either—or both.

Will there be help with sizing?
Yes. A boot sizing tent will be available outside the event, and staff and volunteers will be inside to assist with fittings.

Is it only skis?
No! You’ll find snowboards, skis, boots, race gear, cross-country ski equipment, and more.

Where does the money go?
The proceeds from the event are split between Snow Valley Racing, and Snow Valley Ski Club’s Community Initiatives Program.

Tips for Shoppers
Arrive early on Sunday for the best selection. Dress for the weather and be prepared to wait in an outdoor line-up.
