SAVED!

A local group of volunteers put forth a detailed plan to avoid the facility closure just north of the town of Westlock. People from Snow Valley Ski, Rabbit Hill, Sunridge and Canada West Ski Area Association were there to lend moral support along hundreds of other local residents. The following is the resulting release from the County of Westlock.

Why Teenage Girls Aren’t on the Slopes

Snow Valley’s 9th Annual Tent Event

Sunday August 26th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Here’s your chance to get equipment and clothing ahead of everyone from Edmonton’s finest snowboard and ski shops. Snow Rider will also be selling equipment from our rental fleet and other items. Plus we will have mountain resorts in attendance including Marmot Basin.
