Skiing and Snowboarding NOT Affected

Snow Valley Ski Club and the ski industry in general has been preparing for the current ski and snowboard season since the spring.

Safety protocols have been developed and tested through the experience of summer operations, and the successful ski season in Australia and New Zealand.

Snow Valley has been inspected recently by AHS and met compliance.

Skiing and snowboarding is a naturally distanced outdoor activity that represents low risk of exposure and we intend to keep it that way.

We have installed appropriate safety measures to in accordance with AHS guidelines including:

  • Mandatory masks or face coverings at all times while at Snow Valley Ski Club.  This includes lifts, lineups, inside the lodge and on the hill.
  • We encourage social distancing of 2m or more in lineups and in the lodge between people outside your family or cohort.
  • Ticket checkers at each lift scan for contact tracing from season passes and lift tickets.
  • Lift tickets are available online only.
  • Inside the lodge, you may sit up to 6 people at table to consume food and beverages from concession, however you must be family or in a cohort.
  • Outside the lodge we have our new High Horse Coffee Hut featuring High Horse coffee and other snacks and covered picnic tables to rest on.

We ask that guests check our website so that they ‘Know Before They Go’ and feel comfortable.  Snow Valley features several videos on the changes made for this season along with extensive FAQ and COVID-19 FAQ webpages.

Get outside this winter.  Ski well, be well.
