Introducing: The Manfred Kraft Award

Snow Valley is proud to announce a new award in memory of one of Snow Valley’s most prolific skiers – Manfred Kraft.

Manfred was on the Snow Valley slopes nearly every day and routinely skied more runs than anyone else at Snow Valley. When RFID tracking was implemented in 2023, we finally saw the numbers to match his legend: 4,929 runs during our 2023-24 season, with a one-day record of 118 runs!

Manfred Kraft passed away in August 2024, and we wish to honour his legacy and love of skiing Snow Valley as often as possible by introducing the “Manfred Kraft Award”.

This annual award will be presented to the individual with the most total runs at Snow Valley at the end of each winter season.* We can’t wait to see who will win the inaugural title, so get your skis or board ready for a lot of laps and help keep Manfred’s spirit alive by getting out on the hill every chance you get.
