Season Pass & Lesson Sale!

Until August 31st 2010 get your Season Pass for 15% off! This sale applies to the Family, Adult, Youth and Junior Season Passes. Additionally, if you book your 3 or 5 week lessons before August 31st, you will also receive 15% off the price. The lesson discount CAN be combined with the season pass holder discount, which means BIG SAVINGS if you book and buy early! Season passes are available now to purchase online by clicking here, and starting August 14th, 2010 Guest Services will be open for their Pre Season hours. You can come down to Snow Valley Saturdays and Sundays from 10 – 4 until the season begins to book your lessons and buy passes.

Snow Valley is heading back to the 80’s!

Join us for a flashback to the 80’s!

On Sunday, March 28th come on down to Snow Valley but remember to bring your best retro 80’s attire as well! We’ll be rocking out to 80’s tunes all day as well handing out prizes for the best dressed throughout the day. So make sure you sport the loudest neon colours you’ve got to be spotted by our prize crew. Hope to see you there!

National Learn to Ski & Snowboard Week

National Learn to Ski & Snowboard week will be happening once again throughout the week of January 16 – 24th, 2010. Snow Valley will be celebrating this week by teaming with Kicking Horse and Funky Pickle to encourgae newcomers to try out a winter sport. Anyone who completes a Discover lesson during this week will be entered into a draw for a chance to win an amazing Snow Package Contest. Discover Lessons are for first timers who want to learn how to ski, snowboard, cross-country or telemark ski. Packages start at $39.95 and include a lesson, rentals and a day lift ticket. The draw will be held throughout this week only and the winner will receive a Snow Valley season pass, Kicking Horse day lift passes for 2 and a Funky Pickle pizza party. Snow Valley will be offering the Discover lesson packages throughout the season Thursday evenings and Saturday and Sunday mornings for pre-registered participants. University and College Student Discount

Snow Valley during the Holidays!

Snow Valley has 2 day Holiday Lesson Programs beginning Dec 21st!

Also the Snow Valley Snow Shuttle is running every day over the holidays! Catch the ETS bus #599 with stops at the UofA and Southgate mall and get directly to Snow Valley everyday from December 19th to Jan 3rd!

Every friday after 5pm bring in a food item donation and get your lift ticket for only $5!!!

Yup…that’s right…only $5! Tell your family and friends but make sure everyone has a non-perishable food item to receive the $5 deal! Ski rentals are only $10 and board rentals are only $17 as well after 5pm EVERY FRIDAY *Helmet renatls are available for an extra $9!!! This deal only applies on Fridays so see you every friday night out on the slopes!

Snow Valley is OPEN for the Season!!!

Today Snow Valley is excited to announce it will be opening it’s doors, lifts and runs to the public on Saturday, November 14, 2009 to officially start the 2009/10 season! Snow Valley will be open this weekend from 9am to 5pm with the carpet lifts running all day and the quad chairlift may be opening in the afternoon after snow making and snow maintenance are completed. Opening hours will run Monday to Friday (Nov. 16-20) 5pm to 9pm and regular season hours will begin November 21st.

Snow Valley Ski & Snowboard Swap & Sale

The annual Ski & Snowboard Swap is happening once again at the Snow Valley Lodge on October 17-18, 2009. Everyone is welcome to drop-off items they wish to sell Saturday, October 17 from 9am – 4pm and/or are welcome to purchase items Sunday, October 18 from 9am – 4pm.

A $2 entrance fee will be charged on October 18 with proceeds going to support the Snow Valley Staff and Racing Team Scholarships. If you are selling items, please be advised that there is a $2 charge per item for hard goods and a $1 charge per item for soft goods plus an additional 20% commission for all items. These fundraising proceeds go towards the Snow Valley Community Initiatives Program. We look forward to seeing you there and helping our community!
